Two separate extensions were carried out to this substantial country bungalow over the course of 4 years. First, a rear conservatory was removed and replaced with a single storey, vaulted space to enlarge the kitchen/dining space. The new space included exposed oak trusses and an expressed brick fireplace. Next, the whole roof of the main house was removed and raised to create a first floor to include a master suite, games room and guest suite, almost doubling the original square-footage. The roof extension included replacing windows and re-cladding the property with larch, feather edged boarding.
The work was completed in Summer 2024. The final phase of works will be to complete the re-cladding in conjunction with raising the garage roof to provide a gym/home office space in 2027.
