FAMILY friendly extensions

The client came to us needing to extend their period, village cottage or face having to move out to something larger. Facing a Conservation Area, a bold but sensitive approach was taken to add a two storey infill extension to the north facade, 'double-piling' the rear gable to create a cohesive overall composition. A new open plan kitchen/dining space was created on the ground floor and a new bedroom suite on the first floor. A small side extension was also developed to create a utility space, a must-have for the family dogs! 
The project was completed in 2025. The main contractor was G&R Cousins.
