PLACE MAKING IN WINCHESTER

In association with Shorewood Homes and in collaboration with Robert Adam Architectural Consultancy, we designed this 48 unit bespoke scheme on a hidden gem of a site between Romsey Road and Kilham Lane in Winchester. This substantial site was home to just one unremarkable house and a small-holding and Shorewood Homes secured the site in 2025. The scheme devloped around three character areas defined by the key existing features of the site: an existing entrance; an extensive belt of protected trees and landscaping; and a central area of grade A trees and specimen plants. The architecture of the houses immediately developed into restrained classical language, befitting of Winchester, with the majority of houses being detached over a mix of 2, 2.5 and 3 storeys. The project is also providing a number of shared ownership properties. 
The project commenced in Spring 2026 and is due to complete in phases over the next 3 years.
